Getting to know your consultant
David Roche is a strategy and transformation consultant and business architect with over 20 years of experience helping leaders turn their aspirations into action.
David began his career in the IT sector before founding Governance Architects in 2004. Originally focused on security, risk, and governance, he evolved the business in 2012 to specialise in strategy, planning, and business architecture—supporting executive teams through complex transformation journeys.
He has delivered over 60 Target Operating Models (TOMs) and shaped strategies and program portfolios up to $166M for organisations across financial services, government, and not-for-profits. His work consistently bridges the gap between strategy and execution, combining clarity, structure, and business architecture to create real impact.
David’s experience includes working with People First Bank, ING, Rabobank, Commonwealth Bank, Greenstone Insurance, AMP, Perpetual, SA Police, and NSW Dept. of Justice.
